Choir members doing more music (:

Outside choir, many of the students branch out to use their talents in many different areas. We actually have three students that change classes everyday 4th period between going to symphonic orchestra as well as symphonic choir because they are just that talented. Some are in the acapella group, Shades of Blue, some even assist our choir director every day with the younger choirs. Every year, a good majority of choir students audition for the school's talent show. Choir has given them the confidence they need to perform whatever they'd like in front of a school-wide audience. If it's not the talent show, many are involved in our school's theater as well. I am currently ranked as a thespian and was inducted into it last year! The musicals and plays we put on are always top-notch and some shows have even sold out! That may seem too easy but keep in mind our performing arts center seats 900 people. Through musical theater, a few of my choir friends have found their passion. Two of them are planning on attending NYU next fall and pursuing their dream of possibly acting on a Broadway stage. Another has auditioned for 6 schools' music program and was accepted into every single one. Below I have provided a few different videos, the first two are clips from our school's talent show and the last is a clip from the rehearsal of our school's musical this year, the Sound of Music.
